1st Malaysian Forklift Safety Competition


The First Malaysian Forklift Safety Operations Competition co-organized by both G-Force Forklift Group and Komatsu. This event is to promote the awareness of Safety Operations in Material Handling Equipments to ensure the safety and health amongst operators and co-workers as well as the prevention of damage to both goods and equipments. This is also in line with the government’s call in reducing industrial accidents which is a major concern to them and employers at large. In heeding this call to have a safer work place, there were strong support and participation from multi national corporations, public listed companies and small medium enterprises. The winners were: En Mohd Arif b Afandi, from Malayan Sugar Manufacturing Co Bhd, Prai, Penang who won the 1st Prize, Komatsu Challenge Trophy, individual trophy and cash prize worth RM 2000. En Muhamad Nadri b Omar, from Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd, Juru, Penang who won the 2nd Prize, G-Force Forklift Challenge Trophy, individual trophy and cash prize worth RM 1500. En Ahmad Zamri b Abd Aziz, from GG Circuits Sdn Bhd, Johor Bahru who won the 3rd Prize of an individual trophy and cash prize of RM 1000. 7 Consolation Prizes of individual trophy & food hamper were won by representatives from Blue Scope Steel (Kapar), MSM (Prai), Malaysian Mosaics (Kluang), FMC Wellhead Equipment (Gelang Patah), United Paper Board (Ijok). www.gforceforklift.com
